01A place to begin.
Start with a coastline. Follow a river. Find the mountain pass that makes two neighbours strangers. Geography gives your ideas somewhere to take root.
A little about Paracosm
The place you’ve been building in your head deserves a home.
Paracosm Studio brings maps, civilisations, lore and writing into one creative workspace. Somewhere to follow an idea, make connections and watch a world take shape.

A detailed imaginary world, with its own places, people and stories.
The idea behind it
A map suggests a border. A border creates a conflict. A conflict becomes a story. Paracosm gives those threads a shared home, so you can spend more time exploring your setting and less time piecing it back together.
From the first spark
01Start with a coastline. Follow a river. Find the mountain pass that makes two neighbours strangers. Geography gives your ideas somewhere to take root.
02Give those places people, cultures and histories. Keep the details in your Wiki, so the small discoveries become part of a setting you can return to.
03Take a character across that mountain pass. Plan a campaign, shape a chapter or follow an unexpected idea in Scribe. Let the world become a story.
The person behind Paracosm
I’m Louis Goldsbrough, the creator of Paracosm Studio. I’m building a home for the whole worldbuilding process, from the first coastline to the stories that happen there.
The studio is growing through hands-on development and feedback from the people using it. If you’re making a world of your own, I’d love to hear what helps, what gets in the way and what you’d like to see next.
